Natural Helpers

The Natural Helper program is a group of 25 students within the school who have been selected by their peers.  The students attended 2 days of training where they were able to learn and practice the natural helping skill.

Natural Helpers work in teams of two and are available to any student who would like to speak to them about a concern.  Topics Natural Helpers may assist with include self-image, gossip, rumors, stress, teasing, bullying, friendship and achievement in school.  Natural Helpers have been trained to assist students in problem solving and recognize when an issue needs to be referred to an adult.

If a student would like to speak to a Natural Helper they may fill out a referral form located in the office.
