Hello and welcome to the Airdrie Christian Program!
Whether this is your first year or ninth or somewhere in between, we are so excited that your family is a part of this community. We understand that the decision to pursue faith-based education is deeply rooted in your values and aspirations for your child's development. It reflects a commitment to nurturing not only their academic growth but also their spiritual development. As educators, we are dedicated to partnering with you and fostering an environment where your child can thrive intellectually, socially, and spiritually.
The Airdrie Christian Program (ACP) at Meadowbrook is an inter-denominational faith-based program dedicated to integrating faith and learning. We believe strongly that biblical foundations, along with building competency in curricula, are a priority to ensure students have a successful middle school experience and beyond.
Airdrie Christian Program focuses on “Faith in Action”. We achieve this through two goals. Our first goal is for students to deepen their understanding of God through His Word and by living out faith through daily routines and relationship with others. Prayer, devotional time, scripture reading, Bible Foundations class, and worship blocks are formal routines and structures for learning and growing. Integration of faith is embedded into the Alberta Programs of Study in organic ways where connections are explored through a biblical lens. Secondly, through service-based activities and community connections, our hope is to impact those around us in a positive and meaningful way while also building upon a foundation that our own faith and relationship with God is strengthened in how we extend love to others. We encourage students to have a voice in determining ways to engage in school and the greater community to share God’s love with others.
