Supporting all students in their learning journey
Our Learning Supports team works together with staff and families to support students. We work alongside teachers in the creation and implementation of student individualized program plans (IPPs). Our Learning Supports team meets regularly with teachers to build and review support plans tailored to students' strengths and areas of need.
We facilitate inclusive classrooms by implementing push-in support across multiple classrooms. This could look like paired, small group, or individual support with literacy or numeracy. Students have access to alternative seating options and sensory tools. Our Hub, Nook, and Haven rooms are available as alternate spaces when needed - located in either of the two Learning Support Rooms and CDA Office. Targeted and intensive supports are provided to students with complex learning needs.
If you have any questions about learning supports for your child or their IPP, contact the homeroom teacher or one of our Learning Supports teachers. We look forward to working with you and your child to meet their goals.
