Supporting all students in their learning journey
Our learning support team works together with staff and families to support students. We work alongside teachers in the creation and implementation of student individualized program plans (IPPs). Our learning support team meets regularly with teachers to build and review support plans tailored to students' strengths and areas of need.
We facilitate inclusive classrooms by implementing push-in support across multiple classrooms. This could look like small group literacy and numeracy support. Students have access to alternative seating options and sensory tools. Our Hub and Haven rooms are available as alternate spaces when needed - located in the Learning Support Room and CDA Office. Targeted and intensive supports are provided to students with complex learning needs.
