Posted onThank you for your partnership!
We want to take a moment to thank all the families who joined us for the Student-Led Conferences last week. Your support means a lot and shows your care for your child's education. Celebrating their progress together encourages them to take pride in their learning and develop important skills. Your involvement helps strengthen the connection between home and school, creating a positive space for students to succeed. We truly appreciate your continued support!
HERE’S WHAT’S COMING UP
OurSCHOOL Student Survey at Meadowbrook
Meadowbrook students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 will be participating in an online school perception survey called the OurSCHOOL Student Survey between April 7 and May 2.
This survey gives students the opportunity to share anonymous feedback about their school experience, including the learning environment and school improvement efforts. Their responses help inform action plans that support student engagement, with opportunities for students to be directly involved in shaping initiatives.
Participation is voluntary, but all students are encouraged to take part. The survey takes approximately 35–40 minutes to complete, though timing may vary slightly. Topics include behaviors and attitudes linked to student success, emotional and social well-being, and physical health.
Parent Participation:
Parents and guardians will also be invited to share their perspectives through the OurSCHOOL Parent Survey. More information will be shared soon.
If you have any questions or would like additional information about Meadowbrook’s implementation of the survey, please contact Principal Mrs. Neis by email or by phone at 403-948-5656.
COMMUNITY CONNECTION
RCMP Q&A
A big thank-you to Constables Kurtis and Jarom for joining us last Wednesday and Thursday evenings to engage with parents and students around important topics like substance use, online safety, and peer relationships.
We’re especially grateful for the information they shared highlighting the growing threat of youth exploitation by violent online groups—a timely and serious issue that all families should be aware of. Click here for a copy of the RCMP Public Awareness Document.
