YOUNG READER'S CHOICE AWARD:  The Learning Commons is offering students an opportunity to read this year's Young Reader's Choice Award 2017 title selections.

Students will then be able submit 2 entries for every title they have read to the Airdrie       Public Library.  The Learning Commons will collect and forward all enteries to the               Airdrie Public Library who will then submit them to the Young Reader's Choice Awards       committee.  Voting starts on March 15, 2107.  For further details please go to

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR is running March 28 to 30.  It will be open during school hours, but not a lunch/recess time.  Open the evenings of the 29 and 30 during Student Led Conferences

During the 2010 - 2011 school year, Meadowbrook’s Library transitioned into a Learning Commons.  You may wonder what a Learning Commons is, and where did the library go?
