Airdrie Christian Program

Dear ACP Parents,

Hello and welcome to the Airdrie Christian Program! Whether this is your first year or ninth or somewhere in between, we are so excited that your family is a part of this community with us. Choosing to be a part of the ACP program was a purposeful choice for you as parents, as well as your child(ren) to be a part of a faithbased education.

At Meadowbrook, we believe strongly in building literacy, numeracy, and biblical foundations. With this in mind, curriculum is a priority to ensure students have a successful middle school experience and beyond.

Airdrie Christian Program focusses on “Faith in Action”. We achieve these through two goals. Our first goal is for students to deepen their understanding of God through His Word and live-out faith through daily routines and relationship with others. Prayer, devotional time, scripture reading, Bible Foundations class, and worship blocks are formal routines and structures for learning and growing. Integration of faith is imbedded into the general curriculum in organic ways where connections are explored through a biblical lens. One example of this could be examining similarities and differences with the story of Genesis with creation stories of Indigenous groups in Canada. Secondly, through service-based activities and community connections, our hope is to impact those around us in a positive and meaningful way while also building upon a foundation that our own faith and relationship with God is strengthened in how we extend love to others. We encourage students to have a voice in determining ways to engage in school and the greater community to share God’s love with others.

We are so humbled by the opportunity to work with your young adults as they learn about and from God's Word and explore their faith and relationship with God in a more personal way.
