Students vs. Staff Volleyball Game
On Friday, November 15, our student athletes will face off against the Meadowbrook staff in a thrilling showdown! It’s the ultimate test of skill and spirit as students take on the challenge to claim victory. No matter the outcome, it promises to be an exciting and fun-filled event that brings our school community together.
COMMUNITY CONNECTION
Remembrance Day Appreciation
As a school community, we paid tribute to the sacrifice of our veterans and the efforts of those who continue to serve through our Remembrance Day Ceremony on Friday. We are proud of our students for the great respect and reverence shown throughout the ceremony. We are especially grateful to students who took on leadership roles through participation in the Colour Party, school band, speaking roles, technical support, and behind-the-scenes logistics and preparations.
We had the honor of welcoming guest speaker Petty Officer First Class Robert Spaan. We thank Officer Spaan for sharing his experiences with our students and showcasing the proud history and ongoing dedication of those in military service. Students also viewed a slideshow of images of relatives of Meadowbrook families who have or are serving. We sincerely thank the families who contributed photographs. Through both presentations, students gained a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices and contributions of military families, fostering a stronger sense of community and connection to both history and those who serve.
We will remember them.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
It was great to have so many parents and families at our Parent-Teacher Conferences last week. Thanks for your commitment to learning by prioritizing time to meet with teachers. We had a full slate of conferences for both evenings last week. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you were unable to meet with them. We value your partnership in celebrating and supporting our young learners. Working together makes a world of difference in their journey toward success.
